The Leica-R lenses perform wonderfully on Nikon F-mount cameras. The conversions are easy to do at home and are reversible – all a conversion involves is taking off the Leica mount at the back of the lens and putting in a Nikon F-mount adapter. Of course, a converted lens has to be focused manually and the Aperture set mechanically on the lens aperture ring. This one was made with the 90mm Summicron-R on the Nikon D3, wide-open @ f2, 1/60, iso 200. Raw Conversion in Aperture.
