Vertika, a beautiful & talented young lady had her “Ranga Pravesh” performance in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 2010. The term “Ranga Pravesh” literally means entering the stage or debut. A dancer, after years of serious study and intense training, presents a maiden solo performance of a full length recital. Her performance was absolutely brilliant and she had the audience at the Towsley Auditorium mesmerized for the full duration of the programme. I was honored to be asked to photograph the event.
This is a young lady that I’ve known since she was a day old, so I feel a tremendous sense of pride in what she has achieved through hard-work, determination and discipline. Well done, Vertika!
